Diagon Alley was once a charming place, bustling with shoppers and students. Now it’s changed.

After a Voldermort’s victory, and the rise of pure blood rule, dark magic has become almost the norm, and the accepted standard. What once existed in Knockturn is now on open display in Diagon Alley.

Many of the old shops remain, some have shifted slightly, some new ones have appeared.

Borgin & Burkes now sits in what used to be Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. The building is now black, and filled with everything that used to hide behind closed doors. WWW, on the other hand, had moved into a far smaller premises closer to Knockturn. Where, it’s said, they belong.

All the usual stores for acquiring school supplies still exist.

The Leaky Cauldron is now the meeting place of choice of the pure blood elite.
